Smithfieldnupes.com or JOCOnupes.com
So last night I starting working on the Splash Page(Coming Soon) for my fraternity the Smithfield(NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I think it came out really good, I found a nice photo on Flickr that I'm using for the background and I really think it pulls the page together. The only part I'm not too confident about is the content I used for on the page, I'm not a writer so someone else might have to do that part but here it is.

Phill Wade and Friends - The MixTape is FIYAH!!!
NeoSOul hot Fiyah, Dylan Dylan Dylan. I got put on to Phill Wade by MsKrista(Hey MsKrista) back in August and I saw a skit he did and I was crying cause it was so funny, but the dude is talented. So I been keeping up with him on his web site and looking at some of his videos. This dude got some sick freestyles and he can sing and freestyle too. Life is Great when you can Rotate Your Home screen
Thank ya! Christmas came early! So check this out, I have been looking for a app that will rotate your home screen for the HTC Evo, and I finally found one. Its called "ADW.Launcher" it is awesome! There a couple things that I don't like but they don't out way the satisfaction I get when I turn my Droid 90 degrees to the right or left and the app icons on the screen rotate in a readable position, aaaaaaaah, Bliss. I want to write more Blogs, but what should I write about?
My homies Damond Nollan, Tim Arthur, Vincent Davis, Marianne Hartsfield are great blog writers and they write all the time. Even my man Derek Brinson is writing again. So I need to get back on but this time I want it to reflect me and what I do. So I need to get back on but this time I want it to reflect me and what I do. I design and I love doing it, but I don't know what to really write about. Im so afraid of going over peoples head with what I might say especially if you don't design, so here is my solution that I want to run by you guys just to see if these are great ideas a designer should be blogging about.
1. Abdzeedo
Abdzeedo is where I go to get design inspiration and its a great place to see some really great work from tons of designers. So here is what I want to write about, Abdzeedo has a section called Daily Inspiration, and I will pick my top three Favorite pics and talk about what and why I like them. Pretty cool huh? I don't know if Im gonna do this part but maybe pick the three worst designs and critic them and talk about what would make them better. That might not hurt.
2. My Own Work
I do freelance design work and I think Im gonna try to talk about some of the projects that I work on. I want to try to talk about how I come up with the designs, any problems or issued I might of had, how the client liked or disliked my work, and just the overall story of the whole project. Yeah that will work.
3. What my Peoples are doing
I know this really cool group of people called the "3026 Live Regs" at least thats what I call them. But I think im gonna talk about them and what they are doing. You know a lil promotion, a lil commenting on there blogs, and jus saying hello.
So I think this might work, what do you think? Is there anything else I could write about? Is there anything you would want me to write about? Let me know in a comment or soemthing

Ten Things you might not know about NCCU ITS Webservices
- The Web Team was assemble in Feb. 2007
- We are located on the campus of NCCU School of Education Third Floor room 3026.
- We only Have 5 Members on our Team. 4 Permanent and 1 Intern
- 4 out of the 5 members on the team are NCCU Alumni. Damond Nollan is a ECSU Alumni
- We all sit and work in one office.
- We use a new technique called Scrum for our project management.
- We have a radio show that airs from 1:00 to 2:00 monday – friday on Blog Talk Radio.
- We do a LiveStream video demonstration of work that we have completed over a two week period, every two weeks.
- We create cool designs, graphics, and applications like myEOL and Eagle Status.
- We love to get feedback.

5 Web Design Principles you should not forget
Here are 5 things you should remember when creating content for a web site and designing a web site.
Know who your audience is.
Are they old, young, tech-savvy, on-line buyers? Find out who they are and try to create content that caters to them.
Have a Goal that you want them to Accomplish and Meet there Expectations
If you want People to sign on your site or subscribe to a feature, you have to make that most prominent thing on your landing page or home page, Period. Also, If you have a lot of great content that is on a single page, Users expect an easy way to get around to that page. Try using hide/show boxes, Light boxes, or even Video.
Try to make your site Fun and Easy to use.
Easy is fun. So if you have a Sign-Up process, make it simple to use and the Users will love you for it.
Give Them Reasons to comeback
Basically the Users want the Freshness. New Pics, new media, and new content. Let's say you have a event going on and there will be a panel, try slow leaking the information of who will be on the panel. Every week tell who will be featued on the panel and this will cause Users to come back to the Page.
Use Social Media.
This is the easiest way to get information to users. With Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, which are FREE by the way, there is now way you can't get connected and stay connected.

Its been a minute
Here is the beginning of my post. Its been a while since I wrote. But im gonna start today. Its Saturday and Im working on a freelance project fora friend. He has a Video Production company and he needs a site. So right now Im working on a mock up to show him on monday. But to catch everybody up, My web team at NCCU started a Radio show two weeks ago, I rode a motorcycle, and I meet some cool people in a good organization who achieve in every field of human endeavor. But other than that, Im gonna post the mock up as soon as im done. See ya
